The IIEE-UAE Social Service Committee successfully organized a Free Medical Check-up in collaboration with Prime Medical Center. This event was held at Prime Medical Center, Burjuman Mall branch on February 16, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. It was attended by IIEE-UAE members, along with their family, friends, and colleagues, benefiting more than 50 participants who took advantage of the complimentary health screening.

The medical check-up included assessments for Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure (BP), and Random Blood Sugar (RBS). Participants were also given the option to consult with specialists based on their health concerns, including a General Physician, Gynecologist, Orthopedic, and Cardiologist. For those requiring further evaluation, an Electrocardiogram (ECG) was provided free of charge.

Adding value to the event, Dr. Marissa Joson, a Filipino cardiologist, conducted an insightful Heart Awareness session, which was followed by an interactive Q&A session. This discussion provided attendees with a deeper understanding of heart health and essential lifestyle practices for maintaining overall well-being.

The event was a remarkable success, fostering health awareness and community engagement among IIEE-UAE members and their extended networks. The Social Service Committee extends its gratitude to Prime Medical Center for their generous support in promoting the health and well-being of our community.
