Last February 26, 2023, the IIEE-UAE Chapter conducted the 1^st Quarter Technical Summit and General Assembly held at Dusit Thani Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. 90 members of IIEE UAE Chapter attended the event.

The program start with the professional march of dignitaries and honored guests.

The program continued with the welcome address of President Marlon T. Ducusin, followed by the introduction of Regional Governor Engr. Reinerio Supsup by Engr. Leo I Diano, followed by awarding of plaque of appreciation for his valuable time in supporting the event as guest of honor.

Engr. Marites Macatangay introduced the first resource speaker none other than Hon. Jaime V. Mendoza with the topic of Career Progression and Specialization Program of Electrical Engineers.

Plaque of appreciation is presented to Honorable Jaime V Mendoza, PRBEE, Member in his invaluable support to the event as resource speaker.

Engr. Max Adarlo introduced the 2^nd resource speaker, the Honorable Francis V. Mapile, PRBEE Chairman followed by awarding of plaque for his invaluable support to the event as resource speaker.

ITAC Safety Training and Gulf Tech Automation presented their product to the members during the technical summit. Plaque of appreciation has been awarded to the sponsors for this support to the activities of the IIEE UAE Chapter.

Engr. Frederick Aquino introduced the resource speaker, Engr. Rey Anthony Calvo with the topic of Standard Method of Measurements and Evaluation of Contract Change.

Sponsors such as Zurich and Al fanar also presented their products to the members. IIEE UAE also provided plaque of appreciation for their support to the activities of the IIEE UAE Chapter. Zurich also provided some gifts to the members via raffle draw.

Engr. Rodrigo Pecolera also presented his topic entitled “IIEE Manual of Operations for Chapters” where he discussed the update of the CBL followed by awarding of plaque of appreciation.

Engr. Feliciano Padua III also presented his topic entitled “ASEAN Engineer Orientation” where he discussed the requirement and benefits of being an AER followed by awarding of plaque of appreciation.

Awards for 2022 IIEE Officers and BOD has been presented to the members and given to the current IIEE Officers and BOD by Engr. Feliciano Padua III.
